We have been there as more than 600 musicians walked onto the world's great stages.

Again and again, we have seen musicians on a great stage redraw the picture of what they can become. Some decide to study at a conservatory abroad. Some set new goals as performers. And some teachers return to the stage as performers themselves.

We believe that developing a musician means refining technique, and also giving each person the chance to discover their own potential.

When one musician goes further than they imagined, their path becomes a path for others as well: for the family and teachers who supported them, and for those who will aim for that stage next.

Our mission is to open the world's great stages to every musician. This is how we do it.

1. Opening the Doors to Great Stages

Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Musikverein, Harvard University, Stanford University, the San Francisco Opera House and Tokyo Opera City. We open these stages, long admired by musicians around the world, to performers of every nationality, age and profession. Our winners perform on them.

2. Carrying Each Performance into the Next Step

We connect musicians to debuts in cities around the world. Drawing on the international network of concert halls and universities we have built over the years, we guide each musician to the stages and people they need next. Long after they step off the stage, we stay by their side.

3. Growing Together with Teachers

Behind every student on a great stage are years of a teacher's guidance. We honor the teachers of our winners with the Teacher Award, so that each student's achievement stands as lasting proof of their teacher's work.

4. Connecting Across Countries and Languages

Musicians from around the world meet on the same stage. We hope the connections they form through music will continue long after the performance.

I founded this competition to open the world's great stages to every musician. 

Alongside the competition, I am also producing the American debut of a prize winner of the International Chopin Piano Competition.

In 2026 I traveled with the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra on its first Japan tour in 41 years. Working between the US orchestra and the Japanese stage production teams, I managed the concerts in Tokyo, Yokohama, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The soloist was violinist Stella Chen, First Prize winner of the 2019 Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition.

Through this work I have built relationships with concert halls around the world, with Harvard and Stanford, and with people leading their fields. Those relationships connect the musicians who come to us with the stages they need, and with the people who open those doors.

I began playing the piano at six, and went on to perform at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Commerce from Keio University. Before I worked in cultural production, I handled M&A and corporate finance transactions at Nishimura & Asahi, the largest law firm in Japan. I am a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.

I do this work because I love music. My one hope is that every musician who comes to us goes further than the future they imagined for themselves.
